Cockpit USA - Cockpit USA has been around for four decades but it’s also famous because it has supplied the A-2 leather jacket to US Air Force pilots since 1986. It will be showing a selection of its iconic and heritage pieces inspired by the army and the air force at Pitti Uomo as well as its new ideas for SS 2016 and a capsule collection of limited edition jackets for men and women celebrating the brand’s 40th anniversary. Ernest Alexander - A diamond in the rough. Practical but with a hint of the lifestyle of the New York city man. The accessories collection was designed by the brand founded in 2009 and combines traditional American/style waxed cotton with trims in Italian leather. The styles? Roomy travel duffle bags, slim briefcases and compact laptop bags. Frank Clegg - The brand was set up in the heart of Massachusetts in 1970 with the philosophy of "To be better you need to be different”. The combination of skills and high-tech results in leather goods that will last a generation. A range designed for business but ideal for leisure too, with items such as briefcases, travel bags (duffels, suitcases and dopp kit), totes and other accessories. |

Elegant shapes and a classic allure, revisited with a new lightness: Zabattigli, the traditional Capri cord shoes, were a favourite of Jackie Kennedy because of their natural comfort and they are still an expression of style. Each one is hand-sewn in a shop in Anacapri, with elegant designs and fine fabrics. So which is the coolest? The retro ones in hand-dyed vintage linen and jute. From Altea, the jacket-cum-jumper is still a key item, favouring total white, or white with navy and dark blue, with stripes, optical patterns and geometric designs. The yarns are remarkable, with a mix of technical and natural, to add three-dimensionality to patterns and prints. The T-shirt, plain or with bandana designs, becomes an accessory to go with the jacket. |
